Product Description

The Cusco 198 541 A is a Type OS rear strut tower bar engineered for the 2006-2014 Lexus IS250, IS350, and IS-F (XE20/USE20 chassis) in RWD configuration. By connecting the two rear strut towers, the bar reduces chassis flex during cornering, improving steering response and overall handling precision -- particularly noticeable under spirited driving and track conditions. The Type OS design uses a high-polish oval cross-section aluminum center bar that balances lightweight construction with high rigidity, paired with Cusco blue steel end plate brackets precision-fit to the IS platform.

Installation is bolt-on using the factory strut tower mounting points with all required hardware included -- no cutting or drilling required. Note: after installation, the trunk compartment lid on the rear seat back will not fully open. Does not fit AWD variants of the IS250 or IS350.
