Every CSF intercooler core is manufactured by hand in a clean room environment, with technicians wearing gloves inside the CSF factory to ensure proper brazing and a perfectly clean surface for future welding of custom end tanks. The core features CSF's multi-louvered high-precision staggered fin design on both the ambient (air) and pressure (charge air) sides of the core for optimal heat transfer performance. Each core is then batch brazed in CSF's state-of-the-art digital vacuum brazing ovens - CSF operates 12 vacuum brazing ovens total - ensuring consistent, high-quality brazed joints throughout the core assembly. Following brazing, every individual core undergoes pressure testing at 120 PSI, providing maximum reliability assurance for extreme boost applications where intercooler failure can result in catastrophic engine damage.
