Fitment Notes

Requires CSF B58 Super Manifold (CSF #8200, #8200B, or #8200C) to be installed - will NOT fit the OEM stock intake manifold.
Compatible with Gen 2 B58 (B58C/B58D) engines only. Does not fit Gen 1 B58 F-chassis BMWs.
Aftermarket and OEM charge pipes retain proper alignment with the spacer installed - sufficient flex and adjustability in the system.

Product Description

The CSF 8200S Thermal Rejection Competition Spacer is the next-level upgrade for any B58 build running the CSF Super Manifold (CSF #8200/8200B/8200C). Because the Super Manifold is constructed from billet aluminum - a material with higher thermal conductivity than the OEM plastic manifold - heat from the cylinder head transfers into the manifold more readily. The 8200S addresses this directly by inserting a KIYLEX® thermal barrier between the two components, absorbing and dissipating that heat before it reaches the manifold and raises intake air temperatures.

This spacer is especially critical for drag and roll racing applications where vehicles sit idle between runs, allowing heat soak to build up and negatively impact subsequent pass performance. With proven IAT reductions of up to 77°F at the start of a run and manifold temperature drops of up to 15%, the 8200S is a straightforward, high-impact addition for any serious B58 build. Self-sealing with no gaskets required, it installs with the included hardware and pairs directly with the CSF Super Manifold platform.
