Product Description

The CSF 7107 is a heavy-duty bar and plate charge-air cooler (intercooler) engineered as a drop-in replacement for the 1999-2003 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty equipped with the 7.3L Powerstroke turbo diesel engine. Dropping exhaust gas temperatures is one of the most effective ways to protect the 7.3L Powerstroke under hard use - and upgrading the intercooler is the most direct path to doing so. The CSF 7107 replaces the factory tube-and-fin unit with a 100% TIG welded all-aluminum bar and plate core, delivering greater internal volume, higher surface area density, and significantly improved charge air cooling efficiency. The result is cooler, denser air entering the engine, lower EGTs, and more consistent power under sustained load and towing conditions.

The bar and plate construction is inherently more pressure-resistant than tube-and-fin designs, with the CSF 7107 rated to over 120 PSI burst pressure - making it well-suited to modified 7.3L builds running elevated boost from upgraded injectors, a tuner, or a larger turbo. All factory hardware, mounting points, and charge-air piping connections are retained for a bolt-in installation with no modifications. Black thermal-rejection powdercoat finish and all-aluminum cast end-tanks complete the assembly.
