Product Description

The CSF 8168 is an OEM+ performance oil cooler for the right front fender of the 1965-1989 Porsche 911/930 Turbo, directly replacing Porsche PN 930 207 053 02 and 930 207 053 04. A 50mm core with 15 rows of tubes and 16 rows of fins uses CSF's square fin design for added strength and reduced clogging risk over a traditional fin pattern, delivering 10% better performance than OEM in wind tunnel testing with no increase in pressure drop.

High-flow M30 x 1.5 fittings are machined in-house with a 17.5mm ID widemouth design, well beyond the OEM 14.5mm ID, for roughly 50% greater flow capacity. Stainless steel construction with a copper crush washer replaces the OEM mild steel fitting for added strength and durability, and M22 x 1.5 inlet/outlet connections are also optimized to accept AN-16 fittings for custom setups. The core is pressure tested to 8 bar (116 psi).

Installation is a drop-in fit with no modification necessary, and slotted mounting holes make retrofitting into earlier 1965-1983 models straightforward. A welded mounting bracket matches the OEM design for added strength, and three included fittings -- a threaded plug, an M14 x 1.5P adapter, and a drop-in temperature sender boss -- cover both fan and no-fan configurations.
