The CSF 7218 is a high-performance all-aluminum radiator engineered specifically for the 2006-2010 BMW E60 M5 and E63/E64 M6 with the 5.0L V10 S85 engine. While the factory radiator performs adequately under normal conditions, the V10's significant heat output - and especially the added thermal load from supercharger systems - places considerable strain on the OEM cooling system. The CSF 7218 addresses this with a 2-row 42mm aluminum core featuring B-Tube technology, adding six additional rows of cooling tubes and fins over the OEM unit for meaningfully greater heat rejection capacity. The S85 uses a unique split cooling circuit where the single radiator functions as two independent systems - upper for cylinders 1-5, lower for cylinders 6-10 - and the CSF 7218 is engineered to maintain this factory configuration as a true drop-in replacement.
