The Competition Clutch 15035-1620 Stage 4 Strip Series 1620 is a 6-puck ceramic clutch kit designed for the 2013-2016 Scion FR-S, 2013-2020 Subaru BRZ, and 2017-2020 Toyota 86 equipped with the 2.0L FA20 engine. The six-puck sprung disc uses ceramic friction buttons for aggressive grip and high heat tolerance, paired with a double spring, six rivet carriage that smooths gear transitions even at elevated horsepower levels. The included performance pressure plate delivers up to 250% increase in torque capacity over stock, with a rated capacity of 350 RWTQ.

This kit is designed for high-horsepower builds, aggressive street driving, and drag strip use where the factory clutch can no longer hold the power. The sprung hub design absorbs drivetrain shock and reduces chatter compared to rigid-hub puck discs, making this a more streetable option among puck-style clutches. A 300-mile break-in period is required to properly seat the friction surfaces. The kit includes the pressure plate, 6-puck ceramic disc, throw-out bearing, pilot bearing, and alignment tool -- flywheel is sold separately. Does not fit the 2022+ second-generation GR86/BRZ with the FA24 engine.
