The Competition Clutch 7248-1620 is a Stage 4 Strip Series clutch kit designed for the 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST running the 2.0L EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder. With a wheel torque capacity of 450 ft-lbs and up to 250% more holding power than OEM, this kit is built for Focus ST owners running aggressive tunes, bolt-on forced induction upgrades, or track-focused builds that have surpassed what a stock or street clutch can reliably handle.

The 1620 Series uses a 6-puck sprung ceramic disc paired with a high-load push-type pressure plate for decisive, track-ready engagement. Unlike an unsprung/rigid puck setup, the sprung hub helps dampen drivetrain shock during aggressive shifts, extending transmission life. A 4140 forged steel flywheel and new flywheel bolts are included for a complete installation - however, throwout bearing and pilot bearing must be sourced separately. A mandatory 300-mile break-in period is required, with 500 miles strongly recommended for optimal clutch performance and longevity.
