The Competition Clutch 2-723-ST Lightweight Steel Flywheel is built from one-piece 4140 forged steel for the shared FA20 platform spanning the Subaru WRX, BRZ, Scion FR-S, and Toyota 86. This one-piece design significantly reduces the risk of ring gear separation and friction surface warpage compared to multi-piece designs.

The ST (lightweight) suffix is tuned for naturally aspirated and street-driven use, preserving low-end torque and everyday driveability while still cutting rotational mass over the factory flywheel. It's well-suited for stock, Stage 1, and Stage 2 clutch applications, and works with all performance and stock clutch assemblies.
