Vehicle Fitment

• Universal - Compatible with any gasoline or diesel engine equipped with a crankcase ventilation system (PCV). No vehicle-specific mounting bracket required; universal bracket included.
• Dual-inlet design (2 adjacent 10AN ORB ports) is complementary to dual-bank V-type engines and can be used with single-bank engines by plugging the unused inlet with Radium 14-0351 (sold separately).
• Not compatible with aftermarket crankcase vacuum pumps.

Fitment Notes

• Ships configured for Vent to Atmosphere (VTA) out of the box. The included VTE top plate and gasket allow conversion to Vent to Engine (VTE) mode by swapping the top plate - no tools required beyond a screwdriver to remove 3 screws.
• All ports use 10AN ORB (7/8 in.-14) threads. Inlet fittings are not included - order appropriate Radium adapter fittings separately based on your hose size and routing (see 14-0130 through 14-0194 series).
• For a single crankcase vent port application, plug the second inlet with Radium 14-0351 (sold separately).
• An optional petcock drain valve can be plumbed via the 4AN ORB drain port at the bottom (see Radium 20-0024, sold separately).
• Can be upgraded to the XL version (1 qt capacity) using the Radium extension piece kit (sold separately). For the XL version pre-assembled, see Radium 20-1771.
• Sold as a complete kit - includes the catch can, VTA top plate, VTE top plate, VTE gasket, universal bracket, M6x1mm chassis mounting hardware, and dipstick.

Product Description

The Radium Engineering 20-1772 is a Large Competition Catch Can (CCC) designed for high-powered engines that require greater oil separation capacity than a standard catch can provides. It ships configured for Vent to Atmosphere (VTA) operation, where oil-laden crankcase vapor enters through either of the two adjacent 10AN ORB inlet ports, passes through dual-stage stainless steel filtration media, and exits through a single oversized top outlet that is more than 183% larger in cross-sectional area than the inlets - slowing airflow dramatically and allowing oil droplets and contaminants to fall back into the can body rather than enter the atmosphere or engine bay. The 20 fl oz (0.625 qt) capacity makes it suitable for most performance street and motorsport applications, with the option to upgrade to the 1 qt XL version (20-1771) via a separate Radium extension piece kit.

A key feature of this updated iteration is its convertibility: by removing 3 screws and swapping the VTA top plate for the included VTE plate and gasket, the can gains 2 additional 10AN ORB ports and converts to a dual-inlet/dual-outlet Vent to Engine configuration, allowing purified air to recirculate back into the intake system. An integrated dipstick enables quick fluid level checks without disturbing the installation, and the lower body unscrews for straightforward draining. The included 4AN ORB bottom port supports an optional petcock drain valve. Fittings are not included - select the appropriate Radium 10AN ORB adapter fittings (14-0130 through 14-0194 series) based on your hose diameter and routing.
