• Not compatible with the B-Series Twin Disc kit (4-8026-C) - a twin disc assembly has no middle disc position; twin disc upper and lower discs are TM2-880-A and TM2-880-B respectively
• Not compatible with the K-Series twin or triple disc kits - those applications use the TM2-880K series
• Hydraulic (hydro) B-Series transmission only - not for cable-actuated transmissions

The Comp1 Clutch TM2-880-D is the middle (center) replacement ceramic disc for the B-Series Triple Disc Clutch Kit (4T-8026-C), covering 1994-2001 Acura Integra, 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si (B16A), and 1994-1997 Honda Del Sol VTEC applications running the B-Series hydraulic transmission. In the 4T-8026-C triple disc stack, the "D" disc occupies the center position between the two floater plates - sandwiched between the upper disc (TM2-880-C) and the lower disc, and the first friction surface to engage from both sides under clamping load. The rigid hub ceramic construction is designed for the extreme torque and heat demands of full-race B-Series builds rated 1,000-1,500 hp.

Because the center disc in a triple plate assembly sees friction from both of its faces simultaneously during engagement, it operates at the highest thermal load in the stack. Ceramic friction material is specifically chosen for this position due to its heat resistance and resistance to glazing under sustained high-power use. Selling the disc individually allows teams to replace only the worn component during a rebuild, keeping rebuild cost low for racers running the 4T-8026-C on a regular basis.
