The COMP Cams 1982-16 Max-Lift BSR Shaft Rocker System is a patent-pending bolt-in upgrade that dramatically increases valvetrain stiffness and stability for GM LS engines equipped with rectangle port cylinder heads (LS3, L99, L76, L92). By securing all eight rocker arms per head onto a single precision-machined shaft that mounts directly to the stock rocker stand, this system eliminates the individual rocker deflection and instability that limits performance in stock pedestal-mount configurations. The result is a valvetrain that transfers more camshaft motion to the valve, effectively making your existing cam act like a larger camshaft - or enabling the use of more aggressive, higher-lift cam profiles without losing valvetrain control.

Engineered for both reliability and performance, the BSR system features thin tri-layer rocker arm bushings that reduce deflection and eliminate the high Hertz loading that can occur in needle-bearing equipped rocker arms. Each rocker shaft is Plasma Nitrided for minimized friction and maximum durability, even in high-stress applications running aggressive solid roller camshafts. COMP Cams engineers perfected the rocker-to-valve-stem geometry for precise valve actuation, and threaded ends on the rocker shafts provide supplementary pressurized oiling capability for high-RPM builds.
