The Cometic C14014-028 HP Cylinder Head Gasket is a precision-engineered multi-layer sealing solution designed for Honda K20C1 and K20C4 turbocharged 2.0L inline 4-cylinder engines found in the 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R (FK8), 2018-2020 Honda Accord 2.0T, and 2019-2021 Acura RDX. Featuring an 87mm bore and 0.028 in. compressed thickness, this 4-layer gasket provides maximum sealing performance for high-output turbocharged applications where extreme cylinder pressures and thermal loads demand more than a conventional gasket can deliver. It is ideal for both stock rebuilds and heavily modified builds running increased boost levels.

The HP construction features embossed outer layers with Cometic's proprietary AMP (Advanced Multi-Polymer Coating) that meets the demands of harsh sealing environments, extreme load conditions, and varying surface finishes. The center shim layer is an uncoated stainless steel layer that can be precisely controlled for thickness accuracy. Multiple layers of stainless steel provide exceptional strength and rebound characteristics, allowing the gasket to maintain a reliable seal through repeated thermal cycles and sustained high-RPM operation. The coated outer layers create a corrosive-resistant barrier that prevents coolant and combustion gas leakage even under the most demanding track conditions.
