The Cometic C15703-052 is a race-grade MLX (Multi-Layer-Xtreme) cylinder head gasket designed for the right-hand side (passenger side) of GM Gen-V LT Small Block V8 engines equipped with aftermarket race cylinder heads using the 6-bolt-per-cylinder head bolt pattern and 1/2" head studs. With a 4.150" bore diameter and .052" compressed thickness, this gasket delivers the highest level of sealing performance available for high-output Gen-V LT builds where extreme cylinder pressures and boost levels demand more than a standard MLS gasket can provide. The MLX design features Cometic's proprietary stopper fold-over layer, which creates a torque-limiting combustion seal that resists yielding - making it essential for supercharged, turbocharged, and nitrous race applications.
