The Cometic C15435-045 is a high-performance MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) cylinder head gasket designed for the right-hand side (passenger side) of the Ford 5.0L Gen-3 Coyote Modular V8 DOHC engine. With a 94.5mm stock bore diameter and .045" compressed thickness across 3 layers of embossed stainless steel, this gasket delivers reliable sealing for both stock rebuilds and performance applications. The Viton-coated outer layers with PTFE topcoat provide exceptional resistance to heat, chemicals, and fret, while the HP Shim technology increases clamp load around the combustion chamber for superior sealability on the Coyote's open-deck block design.

This gasket fits the 2018-2023 Ford Mustang GT, GT Premium, Bullitt, and Mach 1 equipped with the Gen-3 Coyote 5.0L V8. The Gen-3 Coyote introduced a dual fuel injection system (port + direct injection), revised cylinder heads, and a larger 94.5mm bore compared to the Gen-2's 94mm, making the C15435 series specific to these model years. Builders working on Gen-1 (2011-2014) or Gen-2 (2015-2017) Coyote engines should reference the C15368 or C15369 series, respectively, and the 2024+ Gen-4 Coyote requires a different gasket entirely.

Installation requires clean, debris-free mating surfaces with a recommended surface finish of 50 RA or finer for proper gasket seal.
