The Cometic PRO1052T is a comprehensive top end gasket kit designed for the Ford 5.0L Gen-2 Coyote Modular DOHC V8 engine found in the 2015-2017 Ford Mustang GT and 2015-2017 Ford F-150. This kit includes everything needed for a complete top end rebuild, centered around a pair of .040" MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) cylinder head gaskets at the stock 94mm bore diameter. The MLS head gaskets feature multiple embossed layers of Viton-coated stainless steel with PTFE topcoat for exceptional sealing performance, heat resistance, and fret resistance in the Coyote's aluminum head-to-aluminum block configuration.

The Gen-2 Coyote is the second evolution of Ford's acclaimed 5.0-liter DOHC V8, producing 435 horsepower in the 2015-2017 Mustang GT and 385 horsepower in the F-150. It is one of the most popular platforms for naturally aspirated and forced-induction performance builds, with the aftermarket supporting supercharger, turbocharger, and nitrous applications well beyond 700 horsepower. The PRO1052T provides the gasket quality and sealing integrity needed for these builds in a single comprehensive package, eliminating the need to source individual gaskets from different suppliers.

Cometic StreetPro top end kits are designed to include all necessary gaskets and seals for a top end rebuild using quality materials selected specifically for each sealing application throughout the engine. Installation of the MLS head gaskets requires clean, debris-free mating surfaces with a recommended surface finish of 50 RA or finer - no supplemental sealants should be applied to the head gaskets. This kit fits the Gen-2 Coyote only (2015-2017). The Gen-1 Coyote (2011-2014) and Gen-3 Coyote (2018-2023) use different head castings and require different gasket kits.
