The Cometic C15316-052 is a high-performance MLX (Multi-Layer-Xtreme) cylinder head gasket designed for the left-hand side (driver side) of the Chrysler 5.7L Gen-3 HEMI V8 engine. Featuring a 4.000" overbore diameter and .052" compressed thickness across 5 layers of embossed stainless steel, this gasket is built for performance applications where the block has been bored beyond the factory 3.917" specification. The MLX design incorporates Cometic's proprietary stopper fold-over layer and HP Shim technology, which together increase clamp load around the combustion chamber to deliver superior sealability on the HEMI's open-deck block design - making it the preferred choice for supercharged, turbocharged, and nitrous-equipped 5.7L builds.

This gasket fits a wide range of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles equipped with the 5.7L HEMI from 2003 to 2019, including both the original non-VVT (2003-2008) and the updated VVT (2009+) variants. Covered applications span the Dodge Challenger R/T, Charger R/T, Ram 1500/2500/3500 trucks, Chrysler 300, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Commander, Dodge Durango, Dodge Magnum, and Chrysler Aspen.
