Product Description

The Cognito 135-91229 is a tubular ball joint upper control arm kit designed for the 2022-2025 Toyota Tundra in both 2WD and 4WD configurations. This kit serves as either a direct replacement for the factory upper control arms or as a performance upgrade for leveled and lifted Tundra applications. The tubular steel construction provides lightweight strength with improved clearance over the factory stamped arms, and the semi-gloss black powder coat finish delivers long-lasting corrosion resistance and a clean, aggressive appearance that complements the Tundra's styling.

The corrected ball joint angle is the primary engineering advantage of these arms over the factory units. When the Tundra's suspension is raised with a leveling kit or lift kit, the factory upper control arms operate outside their intended geometry, causing the ball joints to approach their travel limits and leading to premature wear, reduced droop travel, and compromised ride quality.
