Product Description

The Clutch Masters 06045-HDFF is an FX350 series single disc clutch kit covering a broad range of Nissan platforms that share the same clutch disc size and spline pattern, including the 1989-1993 Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32, RB26DETT), 1989-1998 Skyline GTS and GTS-T (R32/R33, RB20DET/RB25DE/RB25DET), 1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX Non-Turbo (Z32, VG30DE), and 1999-2001 Skyline R34 (RB25DE). With 110% more holding capacity than the factory clutch, the FX350 is built for owners who have increased power output through turbo upgrades, ECU tuning, camshaft and head work, or up to approximately 100 horsepower of nitrous oxide and need a clutch that can reliably handle the additional torque without slipping.

The FX350 uses Clutch Masters' proprietary Fiber-Tough formula button friction material, which delivers noticeably higher holding capacity than organic, Kevlar, or standard friction materials while maintaining manageable street characteristics. The Fiber-Tough disc provides a slightly more aggressive engagement feel than the FX300 (segmented Kevlar) with some clutch chatter possible during low-speed starts, but remains street-friendly enough for regular daily use. The sprung hub absorbs driveline vibration for a refined feel during normal driving, making this a practical upgrade for Skyline and 300ZX owners who use their vehicles as daily drivers and weekend track cars.

The Power Plus I pressure plate uses Clutch Masters' Hi-Leverage self-adjusting design to maximize clamping force with controlled pedal effort. The kit includes the pressure plate, Fiber-Tough formula button disc, throw-out bearing, pilot bearing, and alignment tool for a complete installation. Note that this kit does not fit the Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo (VG30DETT), which uses a different clutch platform. R32 GT-R fitment is limited to early production vehicles manufactured from January 1989 to March 1993 - Skyline GT-R models from April 1993 onward (late R32, R33, R34 GT-R) use the Clutch Masters 06028 platform. For higher holding capacity with ceramic friction material, Clutch Masters offers the FX400 in 6-puck (06045-HDC6) or 8-puck (06045-HDCL) configurations on this same platform.
