Product Description

The Clutch Masters 06028-HDFF is an FX350 series single disc clutch kit designed for the Nissan Skyline GT-R equipped with the legendary 2.6L RB26DETT twin-turbo inline-six engine, covering the R32 GT-R (from April 1993 production onward), R33 GT-R, and R34 GT-R, as well as the R34 Skyline GT-T with the 2.5L RB25DET turbo engine. With 110% more holding capacity than the factory clutch, the FX350 is built for Skyline owners who have increased boost levels, upgraded turbochargers, added supporting fuel and intake modifications, or tuned their ECU beyond factory specifications and need a clutch that can reliably hold the additional torque without slipping during spirited driving and track events.

The FX350 uses Clutch Masters' proprietary Fiber-Tough formula button friction material, which delivers noticeably higher holding capacity than organic, Kevlar, or standard friction materials while maintaining manageable street characteristics. The Fiber-Tough disc provides a slightly more aggressive engagement feel than the FX300 with some clutch chatter possible during low-speed starts, but remains street-friendly enough for regular daily use. This positions the FX350 as the ideal choice for modified RB26DETT and RB25DET engines running medium-boost turbo setups or up to approximately 100 horsepower of nitrous oxide - applications where the FX100 and FX250 no longer provide sufficient holding capacity.

The Power Plus I pressure plate uses Clutch Masters' Hi-Leverage self-adjusting design to maximize clamping force with a controlled pedal effort, a particularly important consideration on the RB26DETT platform where maintaining predictable clutch modulation is critical for launches and AWD traction management. The kit includes the pressure plate, Fiber-Tough formula button disc, throw-out bearing, pilot bearing, and alignment tool for a complete installation. Note that this kit is specifically for push-type clutch applications and does not fit early R32 GT-R models produced before April 1993, which use a different clutch configuration. For higher holding capacity with ceramic friction material, Clutch Masters offers the FX400 in 6-puck (06028-HDC6) or 8-puck (06028-HDCL) configurations.
