The Clutch Masters 03240-HDCL-DLX is an FX400SS Factory Fit Twin Disc clutch and flywheel kit engineered for the BMW G87 M2, G80/G81 M3, and G82/G83 M4 equipped with the S58B30T0 twin-turbo inline-6 and 6-speed manual transmission. Developed as the natural next step for S58 owners who have tuned past the OEM clutch's capacity but don't want to commit to a full race-spec 725, 850, or 1000 Series kit, the FX400 bridges that gap with twin-disc ceramic technology in a true factory-fit package.

Clutch Masters retained the factory bellhousing and fork geometry while stepping disc diameter up from the OEM 8.5" to 9.5" - increasing friction surface area substantially without requiring any modifications to the drivetrain tunnel or transmission. Eliminating the factory self-adjusting cover saves approximately 10 lbs of rotating mass, improving throttle response and rev matching. The ceramic 8-puck DLX discs deliver the holding capacity needed for high-power modified S58 builds, with the marcel cushion between the disc linings reducing the engagement chatter common to pure puck clutches. The included Type 3 hard-anodized aluminum flywheel further reduces rotating mass for sharper engine response. Important: ceramic discs are not intended to improve or maintain OEM-style smooth engagement - they are designed for drivers who prioritize holding capacity and heat tolerance over effortless street manners.
