Product Description

The Clutch Masters FX400 8-puck kit is a complete 240mm changeover package for the 1.6L turbo Hyundai/Kia platform, pairing a Power Plus I Hi-Leverage heavy-duty pressure plate with a sprung ceramic disc for roughly 170% more holding capacity than stock. The Marcel cushion between the disc linings keeps engagement quick without the harsher chatter typical of a rigid ceramic setup, and the included aluminum flywheel makes this a complete drop-in upgrade - no separate flywheel purchase needed.

Because it uses a ceramic-based friction disc, this kit trades some everyday smoothness for holding power and durability under hard use - Clutch Masters doesn't recommend it for stock or near-stock power levels. It's best suited to modified street cars and street/strip builds on the Elantra, Elantra GT, Veloster Turbo, Forte, or Forte5 that need more clamping capacity than the stock clutch can handle.
