The Clutch Masters 08030-HD0F is an FX250 series single disc clutch kit designed for the 2013-2017 Honda Accord equipped with the 2.4L K24W engine and the 2016-2017 Honda Civic equipped with the 2.0L K20C2 engine, both with 6-speed manual transmissions. These two platforms share the same clutch disc size and spline pattern, allowing Clutch Masters to cover both applications under a single part number. The FX250 is Clutch Masters' entry point into performance clutch upgrades for these K-series Honda platforms, providing higher holding capacity than a traditional Kevlar-lined clutch while maintaining the smooth, street-friendly engagement that makes it suitable for daily driving and spirited weekend use.

The dual-friction disc uses Clutch Masters' proprietary Fiber-Tough formula button material on the pressure plate side for high grip and heat resistance, paired with a steel-backed organic friction lining on the flywheel side for smooth engagement characteristics. This combination delivers noticeably more holding capacity than a full-face organic disc while avoiding the harsh engagement and chatter that ceramic and full Fiber-Tough discs produce. The sprung hub absorbs driveline vibration for a refined feel during normal driving, making this clutch kit one of the most practical performance upgrades for Accord and Civic owners who want to hold additional torque without sacrificing daily drivability.

The Power Plus I pressure plate uses Clutch Masters' Hi-Leverage self-adjusting design to maximize clamping force with only a slight increase in pedal pressure over stock, protecting the crankshaft thrust bearing from excessive loads. This kit works with the factory OEM flywheel, so no additional flywheel purchase is required. Note that this kit does not fit the Honda Accord V6 (3.5L, which uses the 08040 platform), the Civic Si (1.5L Turbo), or the Civic Type R (2.0L Turbo K20C1) - all of which use different clutch platforms.
