• 23 lb version requires ARP flywheel bolts (sold separately); 18 lb version uses stock bolts

Product Description

The Clutch Masters FW-450-SF is a lightweight billet steel single-mass flywheel designed for the 2015-2019 Volkswagen Golf R MK7 and MK7.5 equipped with the 2.0T EA888 Gen 3 engine and 6-speed manual transmission. It converts the factory dual-mass flywheel setup to a simpler, more robust single-mass design - critical for Golf R builds running Stage 2 or Stage 3 power levels where factory DMF failure becomes a real risk.

Machined from 1045 or 4140 billet steel and finished with a black oxide coating for corrosion resistance, this flywheel is built to handle the demands of both street and track use. It is available in an 18 lb configuration using stock flywheel bolts, or a heavier 23 lb version that requires ARP flywheel bolts for proper clamping force. Both are SFI 1.2 certified and must be paired with a Clutch Masters FX-series single disc clutch kit - the flywheel is not compatible with the OEM clutch or other aftermarket brands.
