• This is an upgrade/conversion kit ("-X" designation) - requires a Clutch Masters flywheel (sold separately)
• Will not work with the factory OEM flywheel
• 6-puck ceramic disc will produce clutch chatter - not recommended for stock or near-stock power levels
• Does not fit the 2004-2008 Acura TSX (1st gen) or the 2013-2015 Acura ILX 2.0L - those use different clutch platforms

Product Description

The Clutch Masters 08320-HRC6-X is an FX400 series single disc clutch kit designed for the 2009-2014 Acura TSX, 2013-2014 Acura ILX, and 2013-2017 Honda Accord, all equipped with the 2.4L K24 DOHC i-VTEC engine and 6-speed manual transmission. With 170% more holding capacity than the factory clutch, this kit is built for K24 owners who have significantly increased power output through forced-induction upgrades, aggressive tuning, or nitrous systems and need a clutch that can handle the additional torque without slipping during drag racing, road course events, and aggressive street driving.

The Power Plus II high-rev pressure plate is Clutch Masters' higher-capacity pressure plate design, delivering greater clamping force than the standard Power Plus I while maintaining the Hi-Leverage self-adjusting engineering that controls pedal effort and protects the crankshaft thrust bearing. The 6-puck ceramic paddle design engages quickly and firmly with outstanding heat dissipation, making it ideal for racing applications where shift speed and launch consistency are critical. The sprung hub provides moderate dampening to absorb driveline vibration, making this disc more street-usable than a rigid 6-puck alternative, though the ceramic friction material will produce some clutch chatter during low-speed starts.

This is a conversion/upgrade kit with the "-X" designation, meaning the factory OEM flywheel is not compatible. A Clutch Masters flywheel must be purchased separately for installation. For the same kit with a steel flywheel included, use the 08320-HRC6-SK variant. For a less aggressive option on the same platform with Fiber-Tough friction or organic material, Clutch Masters offers the FX250 and FX350 variants. Note that this kit is for the 2nd generation (2009+) Acura TSX and 2013+ ILX with the 2.4L K24 - the 1st generation TSX (2004-2008) and the ILX 2.0L use different Clutch Masters platforms.
