Fitment Notes

• 5-speed manual transmission only - not compatible with automatic or Dualogic automated manual transmission models
• Rigid (solid) hub disc - compatible with the OEM stock flywheel only; WILL NOT work with an aftermarket lightweight/billet flywheel; if upgrading to a billet flywheel, the dampened disc version (05500-HD00-D) must be used and both clutch and flywheel must be installed simultaneously
• Throw-out bearing is NOT included - reuse your existing throw-out bearing or purchase separately before installation
• Pilot bearing / alignment tool included

Product Description

The Clutch Masters 05500-HD00-R is an FX100 Stage 1 clutch kit for the Fiat 500 Abarth and 500 Turbo equipped with the 1.4L turbocharged MultiAir engine and 5-speed manual transmission. It's the ideal first upgrade for 500 Abarth owners who have added bolt-on modifications and need more clutch capacity than the OEM unit can reliably provide - without changing the familiar pedal feel and engagement behavior of a stock clutch.

The FX100 delivers up to 90% more holding capacity over stock through Clutch Masters' Hi-Leverage™ pressure plate and a steel-backed organic rigid-hub disc, making it fully capable of handling heavily tuned Abarth builds producing 200+ wheel horsepower. Important installation notes: this rigid-hub disc is designed for use with the OEM stock flywheel only - if you plan to install an aftermarket billet flywheel, you must instead use the dampened disc version (05500-HD00-D) and install both the clutch and flywheel together. The throw-out bearing is not included and should be sourced separately before beginning the install.
