• OEM pistons have a narrower pin boss area and must be machined slightly for clearance if used with these rods (most builders do not install aftermarket rods with OEM pistons)

The Carrillo SCR5517-4 is a set of 4 Pro-H beam forged connecting rods engineered for the Toyota 2ZZ-GE 1.8L DOHC engine - a high-revving, variable valve timing powerplant found in the Toyota Celica GTS, Matrix XRS, Corolla XRS, Pontiac Vibe GT, and the Lotus Elise and Exige. With a center-to-center length of 5.433" (138mm), a 20mm bushed full-floating wrist pin bore, and 3/8" WMC H-11 tool steel rod bolts, these rods are rated to approximately 1,000 horsepower and represent a massive strength upgrade over the factory connecting rods for builders adding forced induction to the naturally aspirated 2ZZ-GE or pushing factory supercharged Lotus Elise SC builds to higher power levels.
