Product Description

The Carli CS-FTSB-45-17-UPGRADE is the torsion sway bar frame component for the 2017-2023 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4x4, designed specifically for trucks running Carli's 4.5" or 5.5" lift systems with the CS-FELKIT-45-17 end link and drop bracket kit already installed. This is the UPGRADE version -- it does not include end links or drop brackets, making it the correct choice for existing Carli lift customers who want to add the torsion bar to a setup that already has the geometry-corrected links in place. The factory Super Duty sway bar is essentially a rigid brace that locks the front axle to the frame and is calibrated for maximum GVWR loading -- on an unladen truck, the result is excessive chassis chatter and a stiff, blunt ride over small bumps.

The Carli Torsion Sway Bar replaces the rigid factory bar with a progressive torsion design that allows a small amount of side-to-side axle differentiation before progressively engaging to provide the needed control as lateral load builds. The result is a notably smoother on-road ride that's reminiscent of independent front suspension, while maintaining the roll resistance and handling control needed during hauling, towing, and emergency maneuvers -- without the need for a sway bar disconnect. All installation hardware is included. This bar is not compatible with the 2024+ Super Duty (7th gen redesign) or any 2011-2016 Super Duty.
