Vehicle Fitment

  • 2003-2013 Ram 2500 (ST, SLT, Laramie, Sport, 5.7L Hemi V8, 4WD) - 2.75-3" lift
  • 2003-2012 Ram 3500 (ST, SLT, Laramie, 5.7L Hemi V8, 4WD) - 2.75-3" lift
  • 2005-2013 Ram 2500 Power Wagon (5.7L Hemi V8, 4WD) - 1" lift
  • 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 (ST, SLT, Laramie, 5.9L Cummins I6 Turbo Diesel, 4WD) - 2.75-3" lift
  • 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 3500 (ST, SLT, Laramie, 5.9L Cummins I6 Turbo Diesel, 4WD) - 2.75-3" lift

Fitment Notes

  • 4WD models only - does not fit 2WD applications
  • This is the lighter spring rate coil - designed for 2003-2013 Hemi gas trucks and 1994-2002 diesel trucks (lighter front-end weight than 2003+ diesel)
  • For 2003-2009 diesel-specific applications, use the heavier-rate CS-DMRC-03-D
  • Power Wagon fitment provides approximately 1 inch of lift due to the Power Wagon's factory-lifted suspension
  • Lift height varies from 2.75 to 3 inches depending on cab and bed configuration (non-Power Wagon)
  • These coils will physically bolt into any 4WD 1994-2013 Ram 2500/3500, but spring rate is tuned for lighter front-end applications
  • 1994-2002 trucks are known for up to 1.5 inches of driver's side lean; these coils are side-specific to help correct this, though results may vary by individual truck

Features

  • Multi-rate (progressive) coil design with variable spacing for a dual-stage spring rate
  • Soft initial compression for excellent small-bump compliance on paved roads
  • Progressive rate stiffens under heavy loads for control during off-road driving, hard braking, and cornering
  • Provides 2.75-3 inches of front lift on Hemi/2nd-gen diesel trucks, or 1 inch on Power Wagon
  • Increases front suspension travel by up to 50% over the factory platform
  • Driver and passenger side-specific matched pair with taller driver's side spring to correct factory lean
  • Shot peened for increased fatigue resistance and extended spring life
  • Pre-set to prevent settling or sagging over time
  • Powder coated for corrosion resistance and long-lasting appearance

Product Description

The Carli Suspension CS-DMRC-03-H Multi-Rate Front Coil Springs serve a unique dual role in the Carli lineup, covering both the 2003-2013 Ram 2500/3500 Hemi V8 platform and the 1994-2002 Ram 2500/3500 diesel platform. Both applications share a lighter front-end weight compared to the 2003-2009 Cummins diesel trucks, which is why Carli developed these coils with a softer spring rate than the diesel-specific CS-DMRC-03-D. On standard Hemi and second-generation diesel trucks, these coils deliver 2.75 to 3 inches of front lift depending on cab configuration. On Power Wagon models, which already sit higher from the factory, the same coils provide approximately 1 inch of additional lift.

The multi-rate design uses variable coil spacing to create a progressive spring rate. Under light loads, the full length of the spring is active and the rate is soft, providing compliant, comfortable ride quality over small bumps and road imperfections. As greater force is applied - during off-road impacts, hard braking, or aggressive cornering - the tighter lower coils progressively contact each other, effectively shortening the spring and increasing stiffness. This gives the truck a smooth highway ride while maintaining the firmness and control needed when the suspension is working hard.

Each pair is engineered as a driver and passenger side-specific matched set, with the driver's side spring slightly taller to help counteract the factory driver's side lean that is common on these platforms, particularly the 1994-2002 trucks. The springs are shot peened, pre-set to prevent sagging, and finished with a durable powder coat. These coils are a core component of Carli's Leveling, Starter, Commuter, Backcountry, Pintop, a
