Fitment Notes

• 4WD models only - does not fit 2WD applications

• Does not fit 2022 and earlier Super Duty models - use CS-FLMSS-05 for 2005-2022 applications
• Not compatible with Apex billet steering - the center sections are too large and will contact the differential guard
• This is the complete kit with differential guard included; for trucks that already have a Carli CS-FFDG-23 differential guard with integrated stabilizer mount, use the upgrade part number instead

Product Description

The Carli Suspension CS-FLMSS-23 Low Mount Steering Stabilizer Kit is a complete three-piece system designed for 2023-2026 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks. The kit includes a custom-valved stainless steel steering stabilizer, a 3/16-inch boxed steel front differential guard, and a billet tie-rod clamp with a high-misalignment stud. Unlike competing designs that mount a stabilizer in front of the tie-rod where it is exposed to impacts, Carli's system positions the stabilizer behind the steering linkage using the included differential guard as its upper mounting point, providing both steering dampening and ring gear protection in a single integrated design.

The stabilizer features a stainless steel body that will not rust or corrode, a hardened nitride shaft for long-term wear resistance, and precision bearings for consistent, smooth dampening. Carli developed a proprietary valving profile specifically for the fifth-generation Super Duty platform, addressing the steering feedback, wandering, and bump steer that are common when running larger aftermarket wheels and tires. The nitrogen charge is adjustable via a Schrader valve, allowing fine-tuning of dampening force to match the specific wheel and tire combination and correct for radial tire pull without removing the unit. The stabilizer is also fully rebuildable, making it a long-term investment rather than a wear-and-replace item.

For maximum steering control, Carli recommends pairing this low mount stabilizer with their high mount stabilizer (CS-FHMSS-17) to create a true dual opposing stabilizer system. Unlike aftermarket setups that place two shocks on the tie-rod primarily for appearance, Carli's opposing system uses one stabilizer on the tie-rod and one on the drag link, pre-loading the joints on both steering linkages to reduce slop while providing dampening at two separate points in the steering system. This is the only dual stabilizer configuration on the market that adds protection to the front end rather than exposing additional components to trail damage. Note that this kit is not compatible with Apex billet steering assemblies, and for 2005-2022 Super Duty trucks, the CS-FLMSS-05 kit should be used instead.
