Product Description

The Carli Suspension CS-RAM15MRC-RBL-19-R-HD Heavy Duty Multi-Rate Rear Coil Springs are designed specifically for 2019-2025 Ram 1500 Rebel 4WD trucks that carry constant bed weight or are equipped with the heavier Rambox and Multi-Function Tailgate factory options. The standard Carli Rebel rear coils (CS-RAM15MRC-RBL-19-R) were designed for trucks without these options and without constant cargo. Rebels equipped with both Rambox and Multi-Function Tailgate carry an additional 300+ lbs from the factory, and trucks used for overlanding, work, or adventure often carry roof-top tents, toolboxes, or gear that adds constant weight. The HD coils address this with a higher spring rate that positions the rear correctly under these loads, providing approximately 1 inch of rear lift to match Carli's 2-2.5 inch front systems for a level to slightly rear-high stance.

The multi-rate design operates in two stages. At ride height under load, the truck runs on the firmer second rate for predictable handling and minimal sag. The initial softer rate is blocked out at normal ride height - it is not a comfort rate but rather a tender spring that activates when the rear axle droops during off-road driving. This keeps the coil tight to its perches and allows the extended-travel rear shocks to utilize their full stroke, improving off-road ride quality and wheel control. The coils are shot peened for fatigue resistance, pre-set so they will never sag, and finished with a durable black powder coat.

These HD rear coils are a standard component of Carli's Commuter HD and Performance 2.5 HD system packages for the Ram 1500 Rebel and are also available as a standalone upgrade. They can also be used on non-Rebel Ram 1500 4WD trucks that maintain a constant bed load of 700-800 lbs, though Carli notes this application has not yet been officially validated in-house. Note that these coils only fit the fifth-generation (DT) Ram 1500 body style introduced in 2019 - they do not fit the 2019 Ram 1500 Classic or any 2018 and earlier Ram 1500 models. Shocks, upper control arms, and sway bar end links are sold separately or included in complete Carli system packages.
