Fitment Notes

• 4WD models only - does not fit 2WD applications
• Diesel engine applications only - does not fit 5.7L Hemi V8 trucks (use CS-DMRC-03-H for Hemi and Power Wagon applications)
• Spring rate is tuned for the heavier diesel drivetrain weight; using these coils on a Hemi truck will result in more lift than specified
• These coils will physically bolt into any 4WD 1994-2013 Ram 2500/3500, but the spring rate is designated for 2003-2009 diesel short-arm trucks
• For 2010-2013 diesel trucks, Carli recommends the CS-DLRC-10-D linear rate coils
• Lift height varies from 2.75 to 3 inches depending on cab configuration

The Carli Suspension CS-DMRC-03-D Multi-Rate Front Coil Springs are purpose-built for 2003-2009 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 4WD trucks equipped with the 5.9L or 6.7L Cummins turbo diesel engine. These coils deliver 2.75 to 3 inches of front lift depending on cab configuration, providing a leveled stance while dramatically improving ride quality over the factory springs. Unlike a simple spacer lift, these coils replace the factory springs entirely and are tuned to complement the weight and dynamics of the diesel drivetrain for a balanced, comfortable driving experience both on and off road.

The multi-rate design is what sets these coils apart. Each coil is wound with variable spacing - the lower winds are closer together, while the upper winds are spaced farther apart. Under light loads, the full length of the spring is active, providing a soft initial rate that soaks up small bumps and road imperfections with ease. As more force is applied, the tighter bottom coils progressively contact each other and become inactive, effectively shortening the spring and increasing its stiffness. This gives the truck a compliant, comfortable ride on the highway while providing the firmness and control needed during aggressive off-road driving, towing, heavy braking, and hard cornering.

Each pair is engineered as a driver and passenger side-specific matched set for precise ride height balance. The springs are shot peened for maximum fatigue resistance, pre-set so they will never sag or settle, and finished with a durable powder coat. These coils are a core component of Carli's Leveling, Starter, Commuter, Backcountry, Pintop, and Dominator suspension systems for the third-generation Ram HD platform. They can also be purchased as a standalone upgrade to replace tired or sagging factory springs. Shocks, track bar, sway bar, and other suspension components are sold separately or included in complete Carli system packages.
