Product Description

The Brembo 09.7217.21 Prime Brake Rotor is an OE-equivalent rear brake disc designed for compatible Jaguar XJ, XJS, XK8, XKR, and Vanden Plas applications. Measuring 305 mm in diameter and 20 mm thick, this ventilated rotor is engineered to restore the factory braking dimensions and thermal-management characteristics on vehicles using the specified rear brake configuration.

The rotor features Brembo's UV-painted corrosion-resistant treatment on the hub and outer edges, helping protect exposed areas from corrosion while providing a clean finished appearance. Its five-hole mounting pattern, 74 mm centering diameter, 68 mm overall height, and 18.5 mm minimum thickness are engineered around the specified Jaguar applications. Brembo also identifies the disc as ECE R90 type-approved.

Supplied as a pair of two rear rotors, the 09.7217.21 is intended for replacement of worn or deteriorated original rear discs. Before installation, verify the exact vehicle trim, engine, factory rear brake configuration, and rotor dimensions to ensure complete compatibility, particularly on special-edition and performance Jaguar models.
