Product Description

The Boundary VK56-S1 is a Stage 1 billet oil pump assembly engineered for the Nissan VK56DE 5.6L V8 engine - the powerplant found in the Nissan Titan, Armada, Pathfinder V8, Infiniti QX56, and NV commercial van line. The factory oil pump in these engines uses cast gear sets with standard tolerance assembly - adequate for stock operation but increasingly limiting as power levels, RPM, and build specifications increase. High-output builds and high-mileage engines demanding reliable oil pressure under all operating conditions benefit significantly from a pump that is built to tighter tolerances, flow-tested at speed, and assembled with the same discipline applied to race engine components. That is precisely what the Boundary VK56-S1 delivers.

Every unit begins with Boundary's mirror-finished billet steel gear set - their most recognized and competitive feature in the oil pump market. Before assembly, all components are completely disassembled from the OEM housing, ultrasonically cleaned, air-blasted, and individually hand-inspected. Each piece is hand de-burred, then reassembled using stainless Torx head fasteners (replacing the OEM steel fasteners), all torqued to specification with Loctite applied to prevent back-out. Anaerobic sealant is applied to critical sealing surfaces to accelerate pump prime speed on startup and reduce aeration, and assembly lubricant is applied to all critical contact surfaces to ensure oil flow immediately at first start. The completed assembly is flow-tested to 12,000 RPM before shipment and issued with a specification sheet documenting the pump's blueprinted dimensions.
