Borla Transverse Flow Stainless Steel Oval Muffler. Engineered to make the most horsepower and torque with the best sound quality, this muffler includes the same technology used in Borla's high performance street exhaust systems, built for applications requiring a single inlet with dual outlets. The patented straight-through design reduces restriction and increases exhaust gas velocity, ensuring each cylinder is completely evacuated to make room for the incoming charge -- absorbing sound waves without disturbing power waves, unlike chambered mufflers that use partitions or baffles to subdue sound at the cost of backpressure and power.

Originally designed for GM F-Body Camaro and Firebird applications, but usable in custom systems for other vehicles. Made from high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel with 100% welded construction, high-temperature CFF acoustic material for sound control, and a natural mill finish that can be brushed or polished prior to installation. Un-notched necks are designed for weld-in installation; use band clamps (part 18004) if clamping instead.
