Fitment Notes

• Designed exclusively for Mustang GT Fastback (Coupe) models. Does NOT fit the Mustang GT Convertible.
• For vehicles WITHOUT the factory Active Exhaust (also referred to as the Active Valve Performance Exhaust or optional sport exhaust). Mustang GTs equipped with the Active Exhaust option require a different system - see Borla PN 140963 (ATAK, without active valves) or PN 140963 series (with active valves retained).
• Does not fit Mustang Dark Horse, Mustang EcoBoost, Mustang GT500, or any other S650 trim. Designed specifically for the naturally aspirated 5.0L Coyote V8.
• True Dual configuration - two independent 3" exhaust paths from the X-Pipe through individual Polyphonic Harmonizer mufflers to dual tips at the rear.
• Direct bolt-on installation to factory exhaust mounting points. No cutting or welding required.
• Matching systems available in black chrome tips (PN 140961BC) and carbon fiber with black anodized center tips (PN 140961CFBA).

Product Description

The Borla 140961 is the ATAK true dual cat-back exhaust for the 2024-2026 Ford Mustang GT Fastback without the factory Active Exhaust option, finished with dual 4" bright chrome tips. Borla's ATAK tuning is their most aggressive street exhaust sound level - purpose-built for drivers who want the 5.0L Coyote to sound exactly as loud and dramatic as it is capable of, without the drone that makes cabin-intensive daily driving unpleasant. The system achieves this through Polyphonic Harmonizer muffler technology, which stacks multiple exhaust frequencies from pipes of different diameters inside each muffler to generate a richer, more complex exhaust note than a conventional straight-through design.

The Merge X-Pipe connects both exhaust banks upstream of the mufflers, improving scavenging and adding a higher-frequency edge to the exhaust note characteristic of X-pipe systems on V8 engines. The entire system runs 3" True Dual piping from the X-Pipe back - a substantial step up in flow capacity from the factory exhaust. Fastback only; does not fit the Convertible.
