The Borla 140617BC is a Touring series Cat-Back exhaust system for the 2015-2020 Ford F-150, finished with 4-inch black chrome angle-cut tips and dual same-side (truck side) exit. It is engineered for the 2.7L EcoBoost V6, 3.5L EcoBoost V6, 5.0L V8, and 2018-2020 3.3L V6 engines in standard 145" wheelbase cab and bed configurations. The Touring series is Borla's street-friendly, daily driver-focused sound level - built around a deep, rich exhaust note that delivers meaningful character over the stock system without crossing into aggressive or droning territory inside the cab. For F-150 owners who want the Borla sound quality and build standard but prefer their exhaust system to remain composed at highway speeds and in traffic, the Touring tune is the correct choice.

The system is constructed entirely from austenitic T-304 stainless steel - the same aircraft-grade material used throughout Borla's lineup - with mandrel-bent tubing that eliminates the flow-restricting kinks of crush-bent alternatives. Borla's patented straight-through and multi-core muffler technology increases exhaust gas velocity through the system, which contributes to measurable improvements in horsepower, torque, and throttle response over the factory exhaust. The 3" inlet narrows to dual 2.25" outlets after the muffler, optimized for the flow demands of the 145" WB F-150 platform. CNC manufacturing ensures consistent dimensional accuracy across every unit for a confirmed bolt-on fit. No drilling, cutting, or welding is required - all Accuseal clamps and mounting hardware are included.

The black chrome tips on the 140617BC are a cosmetic distinction from the standard 140617 (which uses polished bright chrome tips). Borla specifically advises against using their Stainless Steel Polish on the black chrome finish - tips should be cleaned with hot water and a microfiber cloth only to preserve the finish. The base system fits Extended Cab with Standard Bed (6'7") and Crew Cab with Short Bed (5'7") at 145" wheelbase. For Crew Cab with Standard Bed (156.8" WB), add Borla Adapter 60556 (sold separately). For Extended Cab with Long Bed (163.7" WB), add Borla Adapter 60564 (sold separately). The system does not fit the F-150 Raptor or the 2019-2020 F-150 Limited.
