Product Description

The Borla 140414 is an ATAK cat-back exhaust system designed for the 2009-2013 Chevrolet Corvette C6 Base and Grand Sport equipped with the 6.2L LS3 V8. ATAK (Acoustically Tuned Applied Kinetics) is Borla's most aggressive exhaust tone, engineered through extensive study of the C6's acoustical properties and calibrated on a vehicle-specific basis to deliver maximum volume with clarity and zero distortion. Despite the aggressive exterior tone, the system produces no interior drone at highway cruise speeds thanks to Borla's patented multi-core muffler technology. The system includes an integrated merge X-pipe that improves exhaust scavenging between cylinder banks for increased power, delivering up to 15 horsepower and 16 ft-lbs of torque over the factory exhaust. The 2.5-inch inlet feeds into the ATAK mufflers with dual 2-inch outlets, exiting through four polished 4-inch round rolled angle-cut T-304 stainless steel tips for an aggressive quad-tip appearance. The entire system is constructed from 100% T-304 austenitic stainless steel with TIG welds and CNC mandrel-bent tubing for maximum flow and precise fitment. This system fits both coupe and convertible body styles with automatic or manual transmissions and is compatible with vehicles equipped with or without the NPP dual-mode exhaust option, though NPP valves are not included.
