The 0.85 A/R ratio and open volute configuration deliver a well-balanced powerband, providing responsive spool characteristics without sacrificing top-end airflow - making this housing well-suited for engines targeting 300 to 550 horsepower on the EFR 7163 turbocharger.

The V-Band inlet flange provides a secure, leak-free connection to the exhaust manifold or turbo manifold and simplifies installation and removal compared to traditional bolt-on flanges. This is an external wastegate (EWG) housing, meaning it does not incorporate an integrated wastegate - a separate external wastegate must be used for boost control.
