Fitment Notes

• Coil-over suspension required - the WAK752 is designed specifically for 2011-2014 S197 Mustangs running aftermarket coil-over suspension systems. It is NOT intended for vehicles using stock struts, lowering springs, or other non-coil-over suspension configurations. • Front caster/camber plates only - replaces the factory upper strut mounts at both front strut towers. Sold as a pair.
• Bolt-on installation using factory mounting locations - no drilling, cutting, or permanent modifications required.
• Alignment should be performed after installation to set desired caster and camber values for your application.

Features

• Restores and expands front alignment adjustability on coil-over equipped 2011-2014 S197 Mustangs - lowering an S197 with a coil-over system pushes the front suspension outside the factory alignment range, creating excessive negative camber and altered caster values that cannot be corrected with the factory upper strut mounts. The WAK752 replaces the factory mounts with adjustable plates specifically sized and designed for use with coil-over spring perches, providing the adjustment range needed to bring alignment back within specification or to dial in aggressive settings for performance use.
• 1.75 degrees of total camber adjustment - sufficient range to correct camber on coil-over lowered S197 Mustangs and to set aggressive negative camber for autocross, road race, and track day applications where maximum front grip is a priority.
• Adds caster adjustability not available from the factory - caster affects straight-line stability, steering return, and high-speed directional confidence. The factory S197 upper strut mounts provide no caster adjustment. The WAK752 adds this capability, allowing owners to increase caster for improved high-speed stability and steering feel, or reduce it for lighter steering at lower speeds.
• Teflon-lined spherical bearings replace the factory rubber strut mount bushing - the factory rubber bushing compresses and deflects under cornering loads, introducing compliance into the strut mount that makes steering feel vague and reduces alignment consistency. The spherical bearing in the WAK752 provides a true, zero-deflection pivot point for the strut shaft, making steering feel more direct and handling more predictable, particularly under hard cornering.
• Laser-cut steel construction provides the rigidity and durability required for the high-load strut mount environment - the upper strut mount is subject to significant vertical, lateral, and torsional loads during aggressive driving, and heavy-duty laser-cut steel is the appropriate material to handle these forces over the long term.

Product Description

The BMR WAK752R is a pair of front caster/camber plates for the 2011-2014 Ford Mustang S197, finished in red powder coat and designed specifically for vehicles running coil-over suspension systems. Built from laser-cut steel with Teflon-lined spherical bearings, they replace the factory upper strut mounts to solve the alignment challenge that arises when a coil-over system lowers the S197 beyond the factory adjustment range - providing 1.75 degrees of camber adjustment and adding caster adjustability not available from the factory hardware.

The Teflon-lined spherical bearings eliminate the deflection of the factory rubber strut mount bushing for more direct, consistent steering feel and more predictable handling under hard cornering. Installation is bolt-on with no permanent modifications, estimated at 1-2 hours.
