Fitment Notes

• C5 fitment covers the full production run (1997-2004) across all trims including the Z06. C6 fitment is limited to Base and Grand Sport models (2005-2013) - the C6 Z06 and ZR1 use different lower control arm geometry and this kit does not apply to those trims.
• This kit addresses the front AND rear lower control arms - replacing the factory eccentric cams at both axles with lockout plates for complete front-to-rear camber management.
• The WAK552 is the camber bolt kit component for the lower control arms. For the upper control arm stud kit, see BMR PN WAK551. Both kits are included together in BMR PN WAK550 (full camber bolt and stud kit).
• Bolt-on installation - replaces factory eccentric cam hardware at existing lower control arm mounting points. No cutting, welding, or chassis modification required.

• Replaces the factory eccentric cam bolts on the C5/C6 lower control arms with heavy-duty lockout plates and precision hardware - the factory eccentric cams allow basic camber adjustment from the factory, but are prone to loosening and rotating under the sustained loads of track driving, allowing camber settings to shift away from the desired alignment between alignment sessions. The WAK552 replaces this eccentric cam system with lockout plates that hold the lower control arm bolt in a fixed, locked position, preventing unintended camber change during use.
• Laser-etched camber lockout plates allow for easy, repeatable camber adjustments - the laser etching provides clear reference marks on the plates so alignment adjustments can be made and tracked accurately, and the same settings can be returned to reliably after removal and reinstallation.
• Allows more extreme camber adjustments than the factory eccentric cam system - the lockout plate design accommodates a wider range of camber settings than the limited range of the factory cams, enabling the negative camber settings preferred for road racing and aggressive track use without fabrication or control arm modification.

Product Description

The BMR WAK552 is a front and rear lower control arm camber bolt kit for the 1997-2004 Chevrolet Corvette C5 (all trims) and 2005-2013 C6 Corvette (Base and Grand Sport only - not Z06 or ZR1). It replaces the factory eccentric cam bolts on the lower control arms at both axles with heavy-duty laser-etched lockout plates and Grade 8/10.9 hardware, solving two distinct problems with the factory cam system: the factory cams can loosen and rotate under track loads, allowing camber to drift; and their adjustment range is limited, preventing the more aggressive negative camber settings preferred for road racing and performance driving.

The lockout plates mechanically fix the lower control arm bolt position after the desired camber is set, preventing any unintended movement during use. The laser-etched markings on the plates provide clear reference points for accurate camber adjustment and easy return to a known setting after removal.
