Fitment Notes

• Strongly recommended when installing BMR's AA001 (lower A-arms), AA002 (upper A-arms), or AA032 (upper and lower A-arm kit) to replace factory hardware that has corroded over time
• Does NOT fit 1982-1992 3rd Gen F-Body - those vehicles use different A-arm mounting hardware

Product Description

The BMR RH011 is a front upper and lower A-arm hardware kit designed for the 1993-2002 GM F-Body - covering all Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird trims across the 4th Gen platform. When replacing worn, corroded, or upgraded front control arms on these vehicles, factory hardware that has been exposed to years of road salt, heat, and vibration is often seized, stripped, or severely weakened. Installing new A-arms with the original fasteners is not advisable - the factory bolts and nuts are typically not rated for high-performance use and may be compromised after decades of service. The RH011 provides a complete set of replacement Grade 10.9 (SAE Grade 8 equivalent) zinc-plated hardware that brings strength and corrosion resistance well above the OEM standard.

The kit covers both the front upper and lower A-arm mounting positions in a single purchase, eliminating the need to source fasteners separately for each arm. All bolts are yellow zinc plated for maximum corrosion resistance in the harsh underbody environment, and nylon insert locknuts are used at every position to prevent loosening under the repetitive vibration, launch loads, and high-cycle stress that performance driving places on front suspension fasteners. Washers are also included for proper load distribution at each mounting point.

The RH011 is specifically recommended by BMR as the companion hardware kit when installing the BMR AA001 lower A-arms, AA002 upper A-arms, or AA032 complete upper-and-lower A-arm kit on the 1993-2002 F-Body. Replacing the hardware at the same time as the control arms is best practice - it ensures all fasteners at the newly upgraded pivot points are at full rated strength and properly protected against corrosion for the life of the build.
