Product Description

The BMR Suspension TA001R Adjustable Torque Arm replaces the weak factory torque arm on **1982-2002 GM F-Body** vehicles - including Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models - with a high-strength, adjustable solution that dramatically improves rear suspension performance. Built from heavy-duty **1" DOM steel tubing** and reinforced with **¼" laser-cut steel plate**, this torque arm eliminates flex in the original stamped steel arm, reducing wheel hop and improving traction during hard acceleration or spirited driving. The built-in **pinion angle adjuster** allows on-car tuning for optimized rear drive geometry and traction balance.

A new **95-durometer polyurethane front mount bushing** provides long service life and quieter operation compared to stock rubber, while the **CNC-machined 4130 Chrome-moly adjuster** enables fine-tuning of pinion angle to suit street or drag performance needs. Installation is straightforward with a **bolt-in design** requiring no welding or drilling, and the robust red powdercoat finish offers corrosion protection and visual appeal. Note that for **1982-1984 F-Body models**, a later (1985 or newer) torque arm clamshell mount must be used for proper fitment.
