Product Description

The BMR SP015R is a pair of rear lowering springs for the 1967-1972 GM A-Body platform, delivering a 2" drop in ride height. They fit all major A-Body models including Chevelle, El Camino, Monte Carlo, GTO, LeMans, Cutlass, 442, Skylark, and Gran Sport. The variable spring rate -- ranging from 125 to 200 lb/in -- provides a smooth ride at low loads while progressively firming up during aggressive cornering, eliminating the floating feeling of worn factory springs without sacrificing daily drivability.

Every SP015R spring is manufactured from chrome silicon high-tensile wire, cold wound on a CNC coiling machine, then stress-relieved at 750°F and shot-peened for fatigue resistance. Each spring is compressed solid twice at the factory to establish a permanent set -- BMR's basis for offering a lifetime warranty against spring sag. Computer tested for accurate height and spring rate at the factory. Red powdercoat finish. Made in the USA. Pairs with SP013R for a matching 1" front drop, or order SP031R for the complete front/rear kit.
