Product Description

The BMR SP014R Rear 1" Lowering Springs are a purpose-built performance upgrade for classic GM A-Body muscle cars from 1967 through 1972, including Chevelle, Malibu, El Camino, Skylark, Cutlass, 442, and LeMans models. These rear coil springs lower the back of your vehicle by approximately 1", reducing the center of gravity to improve handling, reduce body roll, and deliver a more aggressive stance that complements street performance and show applications alike.

Crafted from high-tensile chrome silicon steel, the SP014R springs are cold-wound on precision CNC coiling machines, stress-relieved at high temperature, and shot-peened to maximize strength and fatigue resistance. The variable spring rate is engineered to balance firm performance with a comfortable ride, making these springs suitable for spirited driving without compromising everyday usability. Installation is a direct replacement for stock rear springs on compatible GM A-Body vehicles and typically takes a few hours with basic tools.
