Product Description

The BMR DTB005R is a CNC laser-cut 3/16-inch steel driveshaft tunnel brace for the 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro and 2016-2019 Cadillac CTS-V. The factory floor and driveshaft tunnel on these platforms can flex and deflect under hard cornering and aggressive launches -- a loss of chassis rigidity that translates to imprecise steering feedback, inconsistent handling at the limit, and reduced traction under load. BMR's tunnel brace reinforces these key points of the floor structure, reducing deflection when lateral forces are applied to the chassis and improving overall chassis stiffness with no change in NVH.

Installation is 100% bolt-on using the factory bolt holes and existing hardware -- no drilling, welding, or fabrication required. The brace installs in under an hour with basic hand tools. Compatible with stock and aftermarket exhaust systems and headers. Red powder coat finish matches BMR's full suspension lineup for a consistent underbody appearance. For a lighter alternative, the aluminum version is available as DTB006R. Black Hammertone finish available as DTB005H. Made in the USA by BMR Suspension.
