Fitment Notes

• Rear brake conversion kit only - replaces the factory rear brake system on the C7 Corvette with hardware sized to fit within a 15-inch wheel envelope. The factory C7 rear calipers and rotors are too large in diameter to clear a 15" wheel; this kit provides the smaller-diameter replacement components necessary to run 15" drag racing wheels at the rear.
• This kit is one component of BMR's full C7 15-inch wheel conversion system. A complete 15" rear wheel conversion on the C7 also requires BMR's rear lower control arms, spindles, and toe rods for the conversion (sold separately). The brake kit alone does not enable the full conversion.
• Designed primarily for drag racing applications where 15" diameter wheels are used to reduce unsprung weight and accommodate a wider range of drag-specific tire sizes.
• Bolt-on installation - no cutting or permanent chassis modifications required. All necessary mounting hardware is included.
• The red caliper version of this kit is available as BMR PN DBK573. The solid rotor / black caliper version is available as BMR PN DBK570. The solid rotor / red caliper version is available as BMR PN DBK571.

Product Description

The BMR DBK572 is the rear 15-inch wheel brake conversion kit for the 2014-2019 Chevrolet Corvette C7, featuring drilled and slotted rotors with Wilwood billet aluminum 4-piston black calipers. The factory C7 rear brake system - while capable - is dimensionally too large to fit inside a 15" diameter wheel, making a brake conversion a necessary part of any 15" rear wheel drag racing build on the C7 platform. The DBK572 replaces the rear rotors and calipers with hardware specifically sized to clear a 15" wheel's inner barrel while maintaining reliable rear braking performance.

The drilled and slotted rotors improve heat evacuation over solid rotors for consistent fade resistance during extended sessions, and the Wilwood 4-piston billet aluminum calipers are both lighter and more thermally capable than the factory units. Note that this brake kit is one part of a complete 15" conversion - BMR's rear lower control arms, spindles, and toe rods for the C7 15" conversion are required separately to complete the full wheel fitment.
