Product Description

The BMR DSL011R is a rear tunnel brace with integrated driveshaft safety loop built for 2005-2014 Ford Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, Boss 302, and Shelby GT500. Made from 1/4" CNC-formed plate steel and finished in red powder coat, it's designed to contain the driveshaft in the event of a transmission or driveshaft failure, protecting the rest of the car from costly damage.

It's a straightforward bolt-on installation to the factory floor pan, complete with Grade 8 hardware, and meets NHRA safety requirements for cars running 12.99 or quicker in the quarter mile. Note that it's not recommended for one-piece driveshafts without extra care during suspension droop, and the rear axle - not this brace - should be used as the jacking point. Made in the USA.
