The BMR CB004R Radiator Support Chassis Brace increases chassis and front suspension rigidity across the full S197 Mustang lineup -- V6, GT, Bullitt, Boss 302, and Shelby GT500 -- replacing the factory chassis brace that no longer fits once a BMR Tubular K-Member has been installed. Built from a mixture of heavy-duty, yet lightweight 1-inch and 3/4-inch DOM steel tubing and laser-cut, CNC-formed steel plate, this brace stiffens the front suspension and reduces K-member deflection under load.

Designed for street performance, drag race, and handling applications, this brace helps maintain alignment consistency when high loads are applied to the chassis -- a critical benefit for anyone running hard launches or aggressive cornering. TIG welded from heavy wall DOM steel tubing for superior strength, this brace is finished in a durable bright red powdercoat for a long-lasting, great-looking finish.

This is a 100% bolt-on kit that uses the existing factory bolt holes, allowing for a straightforward installation with simple hand tools in about 1-2 hours. Note that this brace does not work with the factory K-Member -- it is purpose-built to replace the factory brace only once a BMR Tubular K-Member has been installed.
