Product Description

The BMR DSL009H is a weld-on driveshaft safety loop for the 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO, designed to keep the driveshaft contained in the event of a U-joint or driveshaft failure at speed. Built from 1/4 in. laser-cut CNC-formed plate steel and finished in a durable black hammertone powdercoat, the DSL009H welds directly to the factory floor support located behind the transmission for a solid, permanent mount. The two-piece design allows installation without removing the driveshaft, and accommodates driveshaft diameters up to 3.5 in.

NHRA legal -- required for GTO drag builds running 12.99 or quicker in the quarter mile. Red powdercoat version available as DSL009R. Installation time is approximately 2 hours. Made in the USA by BMR Suspension.
